The Ravens ruled him out for the game before the conclusion of the first quarter.
Jackson took contact on his hand after a pass and was in immediate pain. He left the field and walked straight to the locker room. Backup Tyler Huntley took his place at quarterback.
The Ravens announced that he was questionable to return with a thumb injury before ruling him out. The injury is to the thumb on his throwing hand.
Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, was playing in his first game since sustaining a high-ankle sprain in Week 4 that caused him to miss three games.
